Capi’s Apartments are charming one-bedroom apartments conveniently located mid-island in Colonia La Gloria. Guests are easily within walking distance of the supermarket, tiendas, restaurants, loncherias, bakeries, and the local fresh-food market. There is even a taco stand right across the street for late night munchies!
Capi’s Original Apartment is a large full-sized apartment with eat-in kitchen and large living room. In the living room is a double bed and fold-out futon, ideal for families. The Luna Studio Apartment is large open studio with eat-in kitchen and large outdoor covered terrace and is suited for singles or couples.
Both apartments have fully equipped kitchens with 4-burner gas ranges, microwaves, blenders, toasters, and coffee makers for guests wishing to cook at home. Cable tv with dvd players and wifi keep you in touch with the outside world, if you so desire.
Air conditioning in the bedrooms and ceiling fans in every room, along with great cross-breezes, make for comfortable sleeping. Housekeeping (cleaning, change of linens) is provided mid-week, and hammocks are there to tempt guests to practice the Mexican custom of siesta.
The Caribbean sea is a few short blocks away to the east. The beach on this side is suitable for sunning, shelling, wading, and picnics. Walk to the west side of the island where you’ll find several beach clubs for lounging and dining as you wish.
Just one block off the main road, it is easy to catch a cab or the local bus into town. Current cab prices are $25MP (about $2), and the local bus is $4mp (about .40 cents).
